As 2025 begins, we reflect on an extraordinary 2024 – a year filled with innovation, growth, and significant milestones at Ruptela. This past year was defined by exciting product launches, strategic advancements, and successful global events, underscoring our unwavering commitment to excellence in telematics solutions.
Although first launched at the end of 2023, Plug5 made its full market debut in 2024, establishing itself as a standout smart device with the following key features: CAN and OBD data reading in a plug-and-play format, CAN auto-configuration with just one-click, and the auto-configuration of vehicles, making it an unparalleled solution for customers seeking simplicity and advanced functionality.
The Trace5 family has been a solid representation of Ruptela devices for basic needs in the market for 4 years, showcasing reliability and performance. In 2024, we elevated this segment with the launch of the Eco5 family, featuring a new slim design. Starting with the Eco5 Lite, we expanded the lineup throughout the year to include the Eco5 (IP54 and IP68 versions), Eco5 BM, and Eco5 Lite+. A standout device in the family is the Eco5 Lite+, where the “+” stands for its high voltage tolerance (9-97 V DC). With the Eco5 Lite+, Ruptela opens up wider applications of telematics in the micromobility segment, broadening the scope of fleet management solutions for our customers.
With the introduction of the “CustomCAN” feature in the HCV5 Lite and Pro5 Lite devices, our customers have gained greater flexibility in managing diverse fleets by writing their custom CANbus programs. This feature has helped them configure CANbus parameters for various types of vehicles and machinery, including trucks, motorcycles, and farming equipment. This innovation aligns with Ruptela’s priority of providing the best telematics data to our customers.
This year, we captured some memorable moments from expos around the world, showcasing our innovations and connecting with industry leaders. Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be equally exciting, with a packed schedule of global exhibitions. We look forward to making new connections and meeting everyone ready to embrace telematics solutions. In 2024, we had the privilege of participating in numerous exhibitions worldwide, showcasing our latest solutions and connecting with industry leaders:
To help our customers with any questions they may have, we launched an AI-supported chat bot. This upgrade uses AI as an automation tool to streamline responses and improve efficiency, but our support team remains in control, ensuring accuracy and personalized assistance. Additionally, when human presence is needed, a support manager can seamlessly join the conversation to provide direct assistance.
During May, we hosted Ruptela Week in Vilnius, marking the first time this event has taken place since 2019, as 2020 brought the challenges of COVID-19. It was wonderful to meet our customers in person, engage in valuable networking, conduct device workshops, and explore the future of telematics that we shape together. As in 2019 and 2018, it was inspiring to hear firsthand stories from our clients about how they use Ruptela GPS tracking hardware. Be sure to check out our use-case videos from clients across the globe, showcasing innovative ways Ruptela devices are utilized.
In October, we hosted a workshop in Dubai that offered hands-on sessions in partnership with Emcode Technology, a Securepath-approved vendor. The workshop included practical training on Ruptela hardware configuration, CAN bus installation, and a special session with Emcode covering vendor standards, training, and certification. Attendees explored everything from basic setups to advanced configurations through expert-led sessions, live demos, and hands-on practice. It was the perfect opportunity to master the skills needed to use our technology effectively while networking with key regional stakeholders.
Following last year’s success, the B2C project in LATAM has achieved great results in 2024. In this project, Zeek, a major regional telematics player, integrates Ruptela’s GPS trackers as part of their telematics services. This collaboration has significantly broadened Ruptela’s market reach. The introduction of our Trace5 LTE-LA basic and IP67 versions has been well received by B2C customers. With convenient purchasing options, such as availability at petrol stations, it has become easier for consumers to access our devices. This year’s success reflects strong adoption and valuable growth opportunities, reinforcing Ruptela’s position as a trusted telematics solutions provider in the region.
As we gear up for 2025, we have ambitious plans to continue pushing boundaries in the telematics industry:
The upcoming release of our Asset5 is set to revolutionize asset tracking. Utilizing 5G satellite NB-IoT connectivity, Asset5 will enable Ruptela to step into a new field by providing tracking solutions on roads and across seas and oceans, making it ideal for ships and maritime operations.
As we close the book of 2024, here’s our promise for 2025: we’re going to read more or, rather, help you “read” more.
Imagine making something complex feel as easy as reading your favorite childhood book. That’s precisely what we’re preparing for Q1 2025. What does this mean for you? We’re giving the final touches to something that will make reading vehicle data simpler, faster, and smarter!
Keep an eye out because 2025 has a surprise you won’t want to miss.
