An engine block relay, integrated into the vehicle, enables remote ignition blocking or vehicle starts only after driver identification is successfully completed. This feature ensures that the vehicle is operated exclusively by authorized personnel, who confirm their identity using an RFID card or an iButton key.
Additionally, ignition can be turned off when the vehicle departs from predefined areas such as cities, countries, or construction zones, the rental period of the vehicle is over, any other crucial term is breached, or there is vehicle theft.
Integrated door sensors on the trailer provide precise information about when and where trailer doors are opened and closed. This feature enhances cargo security by promptly sending email, SMS, or in-system notifications to the transport manager or driver when door events occur.
Notifications can be sent on custom events, such as door opening at a specific time or location.
When the impact detection feature is active, the tracking device monitors its acceleration in all directions and generates records every time it exceeds the configured limits. You can use impact detection to receive notifications to the server about irresponsible drivers who hit sidewalks or other obstacles or when the driver gets into an accident. This feature can also be used for rollover detection in environments where vehicle rollover is possible.
Using the panic button, the driver can initiate a panic alarm in case of emergency, possibly making an automatic call to the manager and/or sending a high-priority notification by email, SMS, or to the fleet management platform. This immediate alert includes vital information, such as location. The panic button can be installed in the vehicle cabin, where the driver will have easy and fast access to it.
Additionally, the driver can initiate state notifications – upon arriving with the cargo to the designated area, multiple parties must be informed. The driver can push the panic button to send a notification to their manager, which includes the driver’s location.
Temperature data is received directly from the refrigerated trailer or additionally installed temperature sensors. When the temperature inside a vehicle or trailer changes, notifications are sent via various channels, allowing us to take preventative actions.
