Tell us more about yourself and what led you to your current position. What three words would you use to describe your role?

My name is Mohamed Younes, and I am currently a Sales Engineer at Ruptela. I have always been passionate about technology and how it can make our lives easier and more efficient. This passion led me to pursue a degree in computer engineering, where I learned about various technologies and their applications.
After completing my degree, I started working as a Technical Support Engineer at Ruptela. It was a great opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills in a practical setting, and I enjoyed working with customers and helping them solve their technical problems. Over time, I wanted to explore the sales aspect of the industry and learn more about how technology can be marketed and sold. That’s when I decided to transform it into my current Sales Engineer role.

When and why did you join Ruptela’s team?

I joined Ruptela’s team in October 2016. I was attracted to Ruptela because of its reputation as a leading telematics solutions provider. I was impressed by the company’s commitment to innovation and its focus on providing excellent customer service.
Moreover, the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with cutting-edge technology was too exciting to pass up. I was also drawn to the company’s continuous learning and development culture, which aligns with my values and goals.

How does your journey at Ruptela looks like?

My journey at Ruptela has been both exciting and challenging. As a technical support engineer, I was responsible for helping customers troubleshoot technical issues with their telematics systems. It was a great learning experience as I had the opportunity to work with customers from different industries and backgrounds.
After three years in technical support, I was promoted to a senior support engineer role, where I took on more complex cases and mentored new team members. This role enhanced my technical skills and deepened my understanding of Ruptela’s products and services.
Last year, I transitioned to my current role as a Sales Engineer, working closely with the Sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities. It has been a great experience so far, and I am excited to continue learning and growing with Ruptela.
