Hello! My name is Debora Polloni, and I’m a Key Account Manager at Ruptela. Initially, my role focused on working with our key Spanish customers, but after six months, I expanded to managing the entire Southern Europe region. Since then, I’ve achieved strong results in the market and built relationships with new target customers.
I joined Ruptela in July 2023. When I saw the announcement for a Spanish-speaking role, I decided to challenge myself! Although I’m Italian, I’ve studied Spanish for over ten years, so it felt like a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone.
Why Ruptela? From day one, I loved the atmosphere and colleagues in the office.
My journey at Ruptela has always been driven by a determination to achieve results. Starting with Spain, my role soon expanded to include Portugal, Italy, France, and Malta.
Jumping into what my workdays look like, I can’t start my morning without an espresso! After that, I check my agenda, prioritize urgent tasks, reply to emails received overnight, and jump into my daily routine and meetings.
I’m a very results-oriented person, so my biggest motivation comes from seeing the outcomes of my work, like closing successful projects, deals, and new business opportunities.
The most challenging part of my job is managing the responsibility it comes with, which requires constant attention to detail and quick decision-making. I coordinate across various departments – Finance, Support, Logistics, Supply, and R&D – to help clients resolve issues as quickly as possible and ensure a smooth experience with our solutions. The most rewarding part is receiving positive feedback from customers or visiting them during expos or business trips!
In my free time, I love to travel and hike in the forest—it’s my way to disconnect, and afterward, I feel fully recharged and ready to be productive. I also enjoy reading a good book, for example, adventure novels. Recently, I’ve started to get back into painting as well.
I always have a trip booked, usually months in advance. A fun fact about me is that I love coffee so much I even have two coffee plants in my apartment!
I’ve always been fascinated by Mexico – their culture, traditions, and food are truly interesting to me.
For anyone who wants to start their career in telematics, just go for it! It’s an innovative market, and I’m sure you’re gonna love it!
