We are looking for a Quality Assurance engineer to join our talented FW/HW quality assurance team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute test cases for embedded FW/HW components;  
  • Collect, analyze, and present testing data and results to support decision-making and continuous improvement; 
  • Identify, log, and track bugs and defects throughout the development lifecycle;  
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure product quality and timely issue resolution;  
  • Analyze system performance and failure modes to improve test coverage and reliability;  
  • Develop and maintain automated and manual test scripts;  
  • Document and communicate test results, issues, and improvement suggestions;  
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in HW/FW quality assurance, including developing and implementing QA policies, procedures;  
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of relevant testing tools and methodologies, including JIRA, test management platforms (such as Xray or TestRail), Confluence, and various in-house developed QA tools; 
  • Knowledge about C#, Python, or other programming languages;  
  • Excellent command of English and Lithuanian (both written and spoken); 
  • Category B driving licence; 
  • Proactive, self-driven and oriented toward the result.  

Advantage if:  

  • Experience in HW/FW test automation; 
  • Knowledge about SQL database management; 
  • Knowledge about 2G, 3G, LTE, GNSS network technologies; 
  • Knowledge about RS232, RS485, CAN, OBD, K-Line, 1-Wire, or different communication protocols.

  • The salary range for this position is from 2455 – 3500 EUR (gross) per month. As Ruptela is an equal opportunity workplace, the precise salary offered to the right candidate will be based on one’s qualifications, competencies, and professional experiences.
