Tell us more about yourself and what led you to your current position.

My passion for AI began in high school, where I actively participated in competitions and even secured second place at the ISEF. This early success fueled my decision to major in Artificial Intelligence, allowing me to delve deeper into this fascinating field.

My role at Ruptela started as a Data Specialist Intern as I was dealing with warehouse data. I also gained more in-depth knowledge of communicating with suppliers and reporting, which has led to my current role as a Junior Supply Specialist at Ruptela. It is an exciting opportunity to bridge my AI expertise with the practical world of supply chain management. This combination will enable me to significantly impact the company, as I believe driving AI is the answer to the real world now.

When and why did you join Ruptela’s team?

As a data specialist intern, I joined Ruptela’s team in March 2024. The company’s commitment to leveraging data to improve supply chain management and warehouse operations resonated with my interests. I was eager to contribute to their growth and gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, and now I’m a Junior Supply Specialist.

How does your journey at Ruptela looks like?

My journey at Ruptela has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve worked on diverse projects, from data cleaning and analysis to predictive modeling. I’ve learned a lot about supply chain management, warehouse operations, and the telematics industry as a whole. I joined Ruptela to gain practical experience in applying my AI knowledge to real-world challenges as an Intern/Data Specialist dealing with numerous data manipulating them and understanding the company’s focus on data-driven solutions aligned perfectly with my career goals. I was happy to contribute to Ruptela’s growth and development while expanding my skill set as the supportive team environment has fostered my growth and development, and big thanks to my manager, Giedrė, for supporting me and giving me the trust to apply my knowledge in such a thing since day one here.

How do you start your day? Please share any rituals or tips&tricks that help you stay productive all-day.

I typically start my day by having breakfast with my team in the office, followed by our daily team meeting. After that, I review my tasks and prioritize them based on urgency and importance. Breaking down larger tasks into smaller, manageable steps really helps. I also take short breaks throughout the day to rest and recharge.

What motivates you to go to work every day?

The opportunity to learn and grow motivates me the most, getting to meet new people communicate is a part of my growth and I’m eager to get the most of it. In addition to the fun and warm vibes in the office, especially with the supply chain department, it’s always fun to be around and never be frustrated to seek help and learn new things from them.

What are your job’s most challenging and most cheering elements?

The most challenging aspect of my job is handling large, complex datasets and managing the components I’m responsible for in our final product. I always need to stick to the plan, but when changes arise, that’s when the fun begins — figuring out how to navigate and solve the issues. The longer I’m in this role, the more confident I become in tackling these challenges. Additionally, extracting valuable insights and turning data into actionable information is incredibly rewarding. I also enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and seeing how our work positively impacts the company’s operations.

Tell us more about your hobbies.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring the city of Vilnius. In addition to being eager about football, watching the new fixtures from different leagues is also a big joy. Additionally, I’m passionate about learning more about AI tools and libraries, and I enjoy keeping up with the latest advancements in artificial intelligence.

Interesting facts about you.

I love having problems to solve. Somehow, when I encounter a problem at work, I don’t get frustrated but excited because I believe that, by nature, humans are made for thinking and finding new solutions.

What is your favorite place in the world? Why?

Barcelona holds a deep love in my heart—the city, the vibes, the people. Plus, being a devoted culer only adds to my connection with it. What more can I say? 🙂

And the last one – could you share any advice for those who want to start their career in the telematics industry?

Absolutely! Building a strong foundation in data analysis and having some understanding of engineering principles can really help you grasp things better. For me, hearing about the parts individually made sense — I could understand why we were buying them and how they contribute to the final product we send out to clients. I believe that having core knowledge always puts you ahead. Stay curious, keep learning, and be open to new challenges. Networking and building relationships within the industry are also essential.
